Over the weekend of 14th and 15th April, Riverhouse Arts Centre had a Promotion Weekend in The Heart shopping mall in Walton-on-Thames. In freezing and windy weather, lots of volunteers huddled under a large, open-sided marquee and promoted the music, drama, events, classes, cafe, art gallery - and all the other facilities available at our wonderful venue.

On the Sunday, members of Fast & Loose did their bit. We decorated two tables with balloons and flyers and offered the public mini-cakes, decorated with purple and white icing.
We handed out brochures advertising our up-coming Quiz Night on Friday 18th May and our Autumn production - Ben Jonson's comedy The Alchemist. The public was very interested and we made many new friends. All-in-all a very worthwhile effort.
